Pastor Dan graduated from Evangel University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Minor of Music. In 2011 Dan began working in ministry and has been in full time ministry since 2014, mostly in the state of Illinois. He has ministered in Minier, Effingham and Alton, IL. He spent the majority of his time as a Youth & Associate Pastor. Anna has also led & launched women’s and nursery ministry, all while assisting Dan any way she could. Anna is currently attending Illinois School of Ministry to get her credentials through the Assemblies of God. In July 2022, the Smith’s joined the community of Camp Point.

Anna Smith, while not a paid pastor of Camp Point Assembly is also a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God since May of 2023. She helps Pastor Dan lead the church in so many ways but especially through leading our Women’s ministry, and supporting him all along the way.

Raising kids that have a heart for the Lord is the motivation behind serving our church. Trey and Randi have been married thirteen years and have three boys. They feel honored to serve in the church and together.
